Eizo, a manufacturer of medical imaging equipment, has released a revealing new calendar to promote their wares. The Eizo X-Ray Pin-Up Calendar is at once hilarious and inventive, a most creative way of promoting their brand to their clientele and beyond. Hats off to BUTTER, the Berlin-based advertising agency who came up with this little stroke of genius for Eizo.

I need these so I can walk around pretending like I’m an android and alienating myself even further from society.

Evil Eye Squid Ring by Blue Bayer
This sterling silver evil eye ring is a wax cast featuring two tentacles (of indeterminate tentacle-y origin, but I’m assuming its somebody’s lost pet Kraken) latched firmly onto a ship’s porthole. Blue leaves the identity of the eye caught within up to you, does it belong to the sea creature or is someone trapped within the ship, brought down to the murky depths below? Stare into long enough and maybe it’ll tell you, buy your own at Bayer’s etsy.
Photorealistic Fruit by Dennis Wojtkiewicz
At first, I was amazed and in awe of these seemingly fantastical photographs, wondering what kind of technique, lighting, and a little bit of photomagic was used to create such a fascinating and almost explicit image. Then I found out these were paintings and the world just ceased to make sense anymore. So thanks for that, Dennis.
